I went with a nice big optical zoom last time - an Olympus 10x zoom - and was thinking about heading up the ladder to 15x if the money is right. Then again, I went with that after a suggestion from a friend who takes lots of snaps at gigs but mine generally end up crappy because of the low light and shaky hand. Maybe I should go for the light and easy option. Uh oh, I feel indecision coming on... Bad timing too... high prices pre-xmas. Thanks for the suggestion. My brother once came face to face with someone who had decided to just wander into our house and see what was there, the closest i got was hearing the pounding of running feet down the hall. Which is as close as i want to ever be. I hope you're not too freaked out by the experience. It's a shame about the camera. The little Optio S10 is a great wee camera at quite a good price. Good dog!
