In coded terms, db has bc. Diagnosis late Sept, op late Oct, on with chemo at the moment… hair falling as we speak. All strong but it does suck.

In a lot of ways it’s one step at a time for me. The best thing about that is that sometimes you stop and look around and can see how far you’ve come.

I did get goosebumps at the first thump of the drum. Now I can’t help being reminded of sitting exams in big gymnasiums, row after row of students.
